I need to clean my house

I need to clean my house. I really need to clean my house, but it is so much more fun to create a blog to talk about it rather than actually doing it. Isn't the internet great? It's not like my house is filthy; it's actually fairly clean. My house is just full of "stuff" that needs to GO. My husband and I are both packrats, a situation that should be addressed by premarital testing. Shouldn't there be a blood test for this? In most normal marriages one spouse is the saver and the other spouse is the purger - in my marriage we are both savers. We've been married 29.5 years, lived in the same house for 25 years, and raised 2 children (one of whom is also a packrat). In addition to the "stuff" my husband and I have hoarded over the years our children's rooms are packed with their "stuff". At the end of each college semester they moved back home with all of their "stuff" and apparently went back to school without it only to buy more to bring back next time. Neither child is physically occupying my house, but all of their "stuff" is still here. Add to this my ongoing garage sale/estate sale habit and you can see I have a real mess here. So, this brings me to my current dilemna - I've got to clean my house. Where to begin? I'll let you know as soon as I start.
